I usually pic a basic dress for the holiday season and go for different accessories for each event. Saves money and gives me a great excuse to buy jewelry! ;)

Mr. PBW is working Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years. So no holiday dress for me.

But I love that Chiffon Bubble dress.

i love the first red strapless dress. i would like it more if the fringe part at the bottom was gone.

I usually do purchase new dresses for the holiday season, but I might be cutting back this year. I have a couple of dresses that I've only worn on vacation, that I might be able to reposition as a holiday dress.

We shall see.

Fab post.

i usually buy nice dresses whenever i see them - which is rare. knowing that, when i see a great one i buy it knowing that eventually (at christmas or some other time) i'll have something to wear when invited out for a special occassion.

OoOoOo... that black Maggy London dress is killer!! Simple, but elegant. And the gold one from edressme.com is stunning.

I haven't been to a holiday party in a while so I can't say that I get a new dress every year.

Great post BGG!!! Definately gave some insight to great holiday party dresses.

We're very casual at my house, but if I were to dress up my pick would be the Jessica McClintock teal dress.

I like your choices, but I must admit - I am all about pants!

I've never been much of a dress wearer, so I just pick a cute little top, throw on my black silk pants and head out.
