History!

I'm taking the day off to celebrate the win of Barack Obama as the 44th president of the United States of America!! THE first African-American to win the highest office in the land!! Change has come...finally!!! Plus, I need to get some much needed rest since I've been under the weather for nearly a week.

  2. oh my gosh i am so happy. i'm a canadian living in canada who came to nj to host an election party tonight. the atmosphere was electric!

not only am i proud to see an african-american become president but, colour aside, he is an intelligent, well spoken, individual (among other things)who, as well have seen, inspires change and unites people. he is the RIGHT choice not just because he is black but for so many reasons.

what a chapter in the history books this will be! enjoy your day off & get well :)

  19. BGG, there really are no words to express the feelings I have about this historical event. I'm just thrilled about it all. Barack is so awesome and so is Michelle. The first family is African American so for the first time we kinda know what's going on in the White House....lots and lots of black love....the way we do it! I'm thankful to God that I am here to witness it all!
