The Most Fabulous Flat Iron!

Just when I thought that I’d already found the perfect flat iron, I was introduced to the Sedu Revolutionary Professional Nano Tourmaline Ionic Styler! The difference between this one and my other favorite is the fact that the Sedu iron seems to provide less heat damage. I say this because I don’t get that dreaded burning smell when I’m doing my hair like I did with other one.

Plus, this flat iron has a sleek design and anti-slip edges that prevent hair from slipping, which eliminates snagging. I must admit, the best thing about it is that it comes with a heatproof iron pouch making it perfect for the girl on the go! As much as I despise doing my hair, this flat iron actually makes the task less arduous! I might even try doing something new with my do for the holidays!

Available at www.folica.com for $139.95

Have you ever tried this flat iron? Well one lucky winner will get the chance, right in time for the holidays! Just leave a comment today and the winner will be selected randomly and announced tomorrow.

  3. I was looking for a flat iron for my natural hair and this might be it. I really want the best because my hair is growing so well. I would love to try it out too.

  4. This iron seems great, I hate that burned hair smell as well. I'm scared to put heat to my hair like this but if it gives off less heat, this might be the best item for me.

  5. The burned hair thing is the grossest thing about flat ironing my hair. I've seen pics of hair done with the Sedu but it wasn't close to my grade so I was hesitant. This review is making think about getting one though!

  6. I've heard a lot about the Sedu from the ladies on the hair boards, but I've never tried it myself. I've been looking at the FHI irons because I've gotten good results with them in the past. I'd love to try the Sedu and see how it compares to the FHI.

  7. I'm fairly new to the flatiron. I was natural for a while. I need practice but I think they are great.

  8. I started wearing my hair straight again over the summer and was totally out of the loop about flat irons (I still thought they were like those old Gold N Hots) and ions. I picked up a decent one from Target in August but it barely does the job. I keep hearing about these high end irons but have yet to try one myself.

  13. BGG, Unfortunately, I've been doing lots of flat ironing lately and the heat has done some serious damage and you know how hard it is for some of us BGs to get our hair to grow! I could just cry but I won't I'll just get one of these babies and let the healing begin!

  24. Now that I'm in the process of going natural, I'm trying everything I can to keep my hair straight, without damaging it. I've heard of the Chi, FHI, and tons of other brands. This looks like it would be a good flat iron to try, I will definitely have to look into this. Nothing worse than steaming up the bathroom with that burnt hair smell. Sizzling does not mean it's straightening!

  34. I need this flat iron. I just got the worst hair cut known to man!! Maybe this flat iron can help keep my hair nice and sleek, so people will notice that, instead of the jagged lines behind my head.

  42. When my CHI broke down last year I was convinced that I'd never go back to it. So I went out and bought a FHI, which was supposed to be soooo good and sleek and blah blah blah, and after that I bought this guy. The flat iron was too bulky to get to my roots, so I had the weird half curly half bone straight thing going on for a while, plus it took forever to heat up, and doesnt curl your hair as nicely. I got another CHI for christmas and I'm back in love.

  43. I love this flat iron. My hair is really thick and I had used a cheap drugstore one for a few months with horrible results. When I finally got some extra cash I splurged on this one: http://www.salonhive.com/fhi-platform-ceramic-styling-iron-1-w-nano-technology.html, and it has made all the difference in the world. I'm finally able to get all my hair consistently straightened and in a lot less time.
