These Bibs Aren't for Babies!

This spring it's all about opulent, over-sized necklaces that will add oomph to your outfits. Although bib necklaces have been around for a few seasons, it doesn't look like they're going anywhere anytime soon. At first glance they may seem a bit gaudy, but when worn with the right attire can instantly add drama and sophistication. Plus, these bold pieces aren't reserved for red carpet moments, they can also be worn with a simple scoop or square-neck dress or even over a t-shirt for a fashion-forward, yet casual flair.

Would you wear a bib necklace?

These are very cute. I recently purchased one for my friends birthday. I am going to treat myself this weekend.

BGG, I love all the ones you have shown here but I don't have a flair for fashion so I wouldn't know what to wear them with! I really wish I had someone to help me out cause I LOVE the look. Perhaps I'll buy one and just try to see if I can pull it off! I'll let you know how it goes! BTW, I didn't know they were called bibs!

I'm not a bib girl,I go for simpler necklaces. But they look nice.

I absolutely would wear one and I wear a lot of strapless dresses and shirts (out of town and in the summer, of course), so these would be perfect.

@K-Bear - They're called bib necklaces, but you can call them whatever you want - "necklace" will suffice! lol

I wore one of these for my wedding. I think that was probably the only time I would wear one of those. It did look nice though.

yes yes yes!!! i love the banana republic one but i think i might have to run to claire's for this since its not an everyday necklace.

I'm actually wearing one today at work, with a white tank and black cardigan. They don't have to be worn on super glam or special occasions.

I find the bib necklaces very sexy and I have a long neck but I have never consider wearing one.
Something to look forward.

I have been wearing bib necklaces ever since I purchased my first one with the matching bracelet at the 1997 Essence Music Festival in New Orleans. Thanks for the great photos.

i have one that i've never worn...i think they're gorgeous...the only thing is that i can't have one that's too high on the neck cuz i get this claustrophobic thing goin on
