If you don't have special Valentine's Day plans this weekend or simply staying in from all the cold weather sweeping the nation - perhaps tuning in to The Black List: Volume III will keep you entertained.
In honor of Black History Month, the third installment of the critically acclaimed HBO film is back and features a new group of African-American notables such as, Beverly Johnson, John Legend, Whoopi Goldberg, Hill Harper, Lee Daniels among others sharing their stories, joys, struggles, insights, etc. into what it means to be black in America. This documentary is a must-see for all BGs!
Visit www.blacklistproject.com for air date schedules.
Have you seen any of The Black List series? If so, what are your thoughts? The first two series are available on DVD and are sold exclusively at Target for $9.99 each.
I saw The Black List Vol. 3. I like all the volumes but Vol. 2 is my favorite, featuring Angela Davis and Kara Walker. I thought the Black List Vol. 3 would be longer (it was only 30 minutes),but I still enjoyed hearing everyone's comments and stories.

ReplyDeletei love all three! I saw Black List 3 premiered at the UNCF conference in New Orleans. It was shorter than expected, but I love it just as I do the first 2!
ReplyDeleteThis is a great series. I haven't watched Volume 3 yet but I do have it saved on my DVR. I loved the first two volumes so I'm sure this one will be just as good. I plan to buy the entire series one of these days. Thanks for sharing!
