GObama!

Ok, I know I typically don't discuss politics on BGG besides the time I posted something about Michelle Obama and Obama t-shirts :-), but I had to write something about Sen. Barack Obama making history as the presumptive first African-American Democratic presidential nominee!!!

I'm so happy and can not believe that we're all witnessing history right before our eyes. How does this make you feel? Please share your thoughts.

Oh, I did my usual post below on Dr. Miracle's products, so please still scroll down today! You know I love your comments!

  2. Um... I'm about ready to jump out of my skin. We did it! (Yep, I'm a volunteer for the campaign). I bought two copies of every paper I could get my hands on. One copy to show to my grandkids and another to post to my office door.

Oh yes, I'm thrilled. I wrote about it on my blog last night too!

  5. i was so moved last night...and his speech really propelled him even farther in my book. hes so classy and REFUSES to throw jabs and low blows, even when he's on top. its unnecessary and it shows that hes dedicated to whats really important versus getting tied into emotion (especially after hearing that rat (hillar's speech). he's focused, eloquent, brilliant and i LOVE OBAMA!!!!!!!!

  10. It's great to see a black man have a real chance to be our next president! Some people got to see a man walk on the moon, some got see Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. give his speech on the Lincoln Memorial, and now...our generation has this. So cool! All politics aside, this is awesome!

  13. Thank you so much for writing about Obama!!!! As a african-american woman, i would of been happy with either democratic candidate being the nominee, but I was pushing for Obama. Hopefully we will make history again in November! Did anyone see the "kind of pound" Barack and Michelle did last night on his speech on MSNBC? LOL I'm speechless

  18. Yes!! This is truly historic. If you'd told me four years ago when I was crying over the election results that we'd have Obama as a presidential candidate I would not have believed you... I have hope again! Wow.

  19. BGG, you simply had to post about BO! I'm so happy, I actually needed a moment to gather myself. Aside from being a brother, he is just awesome. I don't really understand why some people are reluctant to cast their vote for him. I truly believe that some AAs question his ability because of he is AA...slavery really did a job on us and it's time we shake it off and give ourselves (Barack) a chance to show the world we're just like everyone else...if not better! I'm honored to have him representing!
