Snap Happy!

Last week my beloved Macbook crashed and I ran the risk of losing all of my precious photos (like the one below) of my daughter Ava. Luckily, after shelling out a couple hundred dollars, I was able to get it fixed and retrieve all of my photos. In the past, I have not always been so lucky. That's why it's so important to print your digital photos.

Ava in her Easter bib. I'm printing out all of my pics just in case my computer decides to tank again.

For all of my fellow photo lovers, Snapfish is celebrating its 10th Anniversary this week and offering several outstanding discounts and promotions on prints, photo books, etc. Visit their site for more information on how you can sell and share your own creative card designs, photo book layouts and more (starting this summer)!

Also, Snapfish is offering a $50 gift card to one of my lucky readers. Simply leave a comment and a winner will be selected randomly and announced later this week!

  5. she is beautiful!! snap & print away :-)
i am always so afraid i'm going to loose my photos, and i take a lot of pictures! i use snapfish (and flickr) to upload my photos online just in case & i have an external hard drive too - a good idea!! it takes a few seconds to just copy the folder on the hard drive so as long as i don't loose that, i'm set :-)

  7. Pretty baby!

I will say that this will never be a problem as long as you back up regularly. Get an external HD. Use mozy or dropbox.com.

  8. Wow, she is adorable. Reminds me of my niece and how I need to print some of my pics of her before my buggy PC does the same thing.

  11. Ava is absolutely gorgeous!! You just reminded me that I have to get my pictures of my godkids processsed. Not too long ago, my laptop crashed as well. I was able to go to Best Buy and get all my pictures, music and other files transferred to an external drive. I still can't believe how lucky I was!!

I have pictures from college I haven't printed out yet. I should probably get around to doing that. I'd be devastated if I lost them.

I've been meaning to print my pictures forever, but I never seem to get around to it. I lost a ton of pictures when my old laptop died & I still havent gotten in the habit of printing my photos. Maybe I'll start now.
