Get a Natural Glow with CoverGirl!

Recently, I was asked to test a few new mineral-based products from Covergirl’s Queen Latifah's “Queen Collection.” Since I had never used any of the beauty products from the line, I was excited for the opportunity to try the bronzer and pressed powder. I have tried several mineral makeup lines in the past, but this one is less expensive, but still gets the job done.

Although I don’t typically use pressed powder, I was pleased to see that it successfully absorbed the excess oil from my face leaving it looking camera-ready! Because you guys know how much I love to use blushes, applying the bronzer was an absolute treat. It gave me a gorgeous warm glow, which was a bit of a change from my tried and true Tarte cheek stain. Tip, don't apply too much!! Be sure to tap your brush to remove excess bronzer!

Have you tried the mineral makeup from Covergirl? Have you ever used products from the "Queen Collection?" Just leave a comment and one lucky winner will receive a bronzer and a pressed powder!

Natural Hue Pressed Powder available at www.drugstore.com for $7.36

BGG, I don't think mineral make up would give me the coverage I need but I've always wanted to give it a try and because this is so affordable...YES I CAN! I will be purchasing something from her line today. I'll let you know how it works for me.

I used a friend's loose mineral bronzer about a month ago. I put on a little too much and my nose was looking like Abe Lincoln's at the Illinois State Capitol building. A mess. I'm not opposed to trying it though. I heard it's a good alternative to heavy concealers.

At the lower price points, I may have to check it out.

I have not tried any of these but it's nice to hear they do the job at a good price.

I have yet to use a bronzer or pressed powder. I have purchased a lip stick from the queen collection I think the color was chocolate.

Since I am a bit pale I do enjoy using bronzer. Your selection is great and affordable. The bronzer I use tend to dry after few months.

i use bronzer alot in the summer, i try to stay away from it in the winter to avoid looking to fake but sometimes i need that extra glow! i will def try the covergirl powder instead on splurging for one from sephora.

I've never tried the powders, but some of my favorite lipsticks are from this line. The bronzer looks pretty..

I've used lip gloss from Queen's Collection. I don't use foundation, mostly because I don't know which ones are right for my skin and most lines (excluding black-owned ones) don't have my skin tone. But I do like the Queen Collection.

I've never tried anything from the CG Queen Collection. I've kind of given up on powders- I noticed every pic I take when wearing it I look like a ghost :-(

I haven't had the privelege of trying mineral makeup, but I did want to.

I have been motivated to start trying different things like wearing more than lipgloss and eye shadow, so maybe this will help me.

I purchased a QC lip color a few months ago, and used a few times. It goes on really smooth, but did not last me all day (I lick my lips a lot). I would love to enhance my makeup bag to include more from the Queen Collection

I haven't tried this line. But I hear good things about the bronzer. Matter of fact I think scandelous beauty likes the CV bronzer.

I never tried the mineral make up from Cover Girl. To tell you the truth I was a little afraid that it might have added ingredients. I am making the switch to natural/organic make up. Right now I use the mineral make up from Bare Essentials. I like the way it looks on me, but at times the application process could just be too much.
