I'm In Love with a Two-Timer!

You guys know that I am bonafide lip-gloss girl. I've made several failed attempts at crossing over to the land of lipstick, but never found one that gave me the texture and color that I preferred - until now! That's right BGG has finally found a lipstick that I would use regularly. My new beauty bag essential is the "Two Timer" core lipstick by Tropez.

I'm a fan because it has a moisturizing balm containing vitamins A,C,E, aloe vera and jojoba oil in the center. These hydrating ingredients make the application go on smoothly and leaves lips feeling soft unlike most lipsticks. I have the "Cancun" color and it complements my skin tone perfectly. Plus, the best part is that you can find them in a variety of shades at drugstores nationwide for only $2.99! These days, you can't beat that price!

Have you ever tried any Tropez products? Since many of you don't prefer lipstick, what's your reason? Please share!

i have never heard of this brand - definitely not one that's sold in canada.

i don't wear much makeup though - and not on a regular basis...though i do seem to buy it. i really like bobbi brown lipsticks - i find they go on nicely and have a nice smell. and they have a neutral that is pretty great on my complexion. also scott barnes makes this lip thingy...it's like melted lip stick...it's MY FAVOURITE! i use it sparingly now that its no longer available here - but you MUST try the 'chocolate' colour. PERFECTION!

Oh gosh, I remember a lipstick like this years ago. I can't remember who it was by but I used to love it.

Uh ohhh!! I may need to try this one out! I loooove lipsticks. For many reasons. They are true colors, last longer and you can switch up the colors. I actually wrote a post about it. Lipsticks are great. Glosses are good too--I think they are more moisturizing but I am definitely a lipstick lady these days.

BGG, now you know I'm a lipstick girl. I also remember a lipstick like this two-timer back in the day. My mom used to wear it. Old things are new again! You also know I love to try new thing especially when they are very, very affordable. I hope I find the perfect new shade like you did. A new lipstick might be just what I need today for a pick me up!

I typically don't like lipstick b/c its so heavy- too much color. I like gloss for the sheerness it provides and of course the glossiness.

wow that's so neat...i actually do lipsticks and then gloss on top now because glosses alone dont give me the color vibrancy that i need sometimes...but this is a great lil product

I've never heard of this brand. I'm not a huge fan of lipstick. I can't seem to find any that matches up to look of lip gloss without having to apply a clear lip gloss on top of it. Most lipsticks give a very dull appearance and I'm into just a little shine. So I always end up putting just a little clear lip gloss over lipstick (that's if I wear it). I've tried numerous brands of lipstick but none that match up to my MAC lip gloss.

I only like lustre type lipsticks. They are not drying to the lips. I have seen this brand of makeup in Walgreens. Will check out the lipsticks.

When I was little, I remember seeing a lot of older church ladies with red and pink lipsticks stains on their teeth. I've been scarred ever since. LOL!

I wear lipstick and lip gloss, but glosses are cheaper, easier to come by and easier to correct. If you put on the wrong lipstick color, it's hard to cover it up or start over.

This looks like a good find though and for $2.99... can't be that. It probably cost like $5.99 in Chicago though. They're always marking up the prices here. :P

I've never used or heard of this brand. I do love lipstick though. I put it on, dab half of it off and apply lipgloss on top ;o)
