You are so timely BG. I just purchased textured tights this weekend! They looked so fun. Normally I'm a basic opaque girl.

I mostly keep it opaque. But these funky ones that are coming our are so tempting to try. I do love color. So these are definitely worth a try. :-)

I love textured tights. Since I've moved to IL I've gotten into wearing them. I didn't need them before when I was in MS. You gave me some ideas for new ones. Thanks.

I love funky tights. I don't own any, but they are definitely on my list.

Also, it's stupid cold in Chicago today, just FYI.

BGG, I've been in love with tights for years! I love the fancy schmancy ones like the ones you have posted here. I love wearing them to work with a simple black skirt or dress and boots so co-workers only get a peek a boo glimpse of who I am. Buys look at my hair pulled back into a librarian bun and my specs and they think I'm a total nerd until I sit down and cross my legs and they see fishnets, diamonds or stripes..Booyah! The secret is out...this girl has another side and I need to meet her after work! Holla!

I love all of them, except for the paisley too busy for my taste.
On my way to Nodstrom!!!

@Eb - I agree, about the paisley, but I thought someone might like them! LOL

I tend to stay away from tights, but when I have to go there, they're usually opaque. Cuts down on the fuss of what'll go with what. These are cute options though--maybe I'll give 'em a whirl. Of course, now I have to find the perfect dress to go with the perfect tights... *sigh*

I usually use basic tights but if I was going to do a pattern I would probably do something simple like the bebe tights.

The ribbed tights look cute (I think they were the second pair) but I don't know about the rest.

What a FABULOUS post! I was just saying to myself, "Self.." just kidding, lol! But seriously, I was just saying that I wanted to get some cute tights to wear with my solids this winter, then your post pops up on the Glam bulletin. Right on time. I'm loving the argyle ones at Nordstrom and the ribbed ones at bebe. Headed over to their sites RIGHT NOW.

I needed this post. I love the paisley tights. I get opaque tights. I love black, blue, purple, pink, green, and red tights.

I love the grey cable knit tights. I'm into grey tights right now - opaque or knitted. They are just so cool and often make an outfit look totally different than if I were to wear black opaque or black sheer.

These are cute, I just picked up some textured tights last week... Something new this season!!!

No one would know it but tights are a weakness of mine...although I generally buy them on sale at the end of the season. I love wearing skirts and being flirty, so a good pair of tights goes a long way in the fall/winter months.

DRAW BACK: because so many in my collection are printed or funky, I find myself at a loss when the outfit itself is loud and funky calling for a basic denier...LOL...

I've vowed to wear more dresses, so I may be stocking up on these in the near future.
