Black Beauty

My cousin who is a professional makeup artist hipped me to Black/Up makeup about a year or two ago. Ever since, I've been dying to try a few products from their line, but could never get my hands on the popular makeup especially made for us brown beauties. Now that I've had the pleasure of applying their incredibly pigmented products such as the eye shadows and blush, I've been hooked. The eye shadows stay in place and don't crease, while the blush gives a sultry glow without making cheeks appear overly made-up.

Not only does the line carry cosmetics that complement our varying skin tones, but also sells skin-care products to help maintain a healthy complexion.

Have you ever tried Black-Up products? One lucky reader will win a product from the line. Simply leave a comment and a winner will be randomly selected and announced later this week.

I've never heard of this brand. I'm interested in seeing how well their primer works. The rest of the products look great too.

hi, I would love to try this brand out. I saw they had some adds in African magazines like True Love and Drum. But that was a while back and then I havent heard about them since. Nice to know, they cater to all shades of color.

I think I would like to try this product. Im a newbie to make up at age 35. So I'm still in the experimental stages. N by me being very Afro-centric it's hard to buy any other products.
