Barack the Vote!

Super Tuesday is tomorrow and it’s super important for those of us who are living in one of the 24 states where primary elections are taking place to exercise our right to vote. This presidential race has been one of the most exciting and historical in recent memory. To have an African-American and a woman representing the Democratic Party is nothing less than spectacular!

In honor of my choice for the Democratic candidate - Barack Obama, I came across some cute tees and hoodies that support his campaign. A play on words from the successful Rock the Vote campaign made popular on MTV in the 1990s, these Barack the Vote shirts make a statement both fashion-wise and politically. Not only do they promote Obama, 25% of each purchase is donated to his campaign.

Even if you don’t plan to "Barack the Vote," please go out and let your voice be heard through your ballot. We can make a difference!

Whaaaaaat?! I love it! What a wonderful way to show your support for a real winner. I especially love the tank and the hoodie. Who doesn't love to Obama and more importantly...who doesn't vote?!

Yes Barack Obama's T-shirts are very fashionable.
This election has the possibility to change the American history and you can
be part of it.
On the one hand we can support a woman, by choosing Hillary. But aside from
being a woman is she really for the people or simple satisfying her own
ego. As a women I feel bad not supporting her but I'm stepping outside the box by
making sure that we select the candidate who is more suitable for job.
Does Barack have the answer? I want to believe that he may hold a better
card.
As the new kid on the block, he may be able to do and see differently. Of
course his success will depend on the people he chooses to be part of his
team.
So let's make history and support Barack!!!!

Please Vote!!!!!!!

I like the Barack the Vote sweatshirts and t-shirts. If he does win the democratic nominee, then I will definetley pick up one( if they haven't sold out by then). I am a Barack Supporter. To Mimieyes, I felt the same way about hilary, being a woman and feeling to have to choose, and I have heard women who support her say that women have it hard enough, so women should support women. But there also the racial thing that we have to deal with too. It would be easier if Oprah was running for president :)
This article about Gloria Steinem's comments on how it is harder for hilary than obama reasurred who I'll vote for tommorow.

Am I dreaming, an African American and a woman running for President? I never thought I would see this happen in my lifetime. I am truly proud of both candidates, however, I must vote for Obama. Hillary, if Obama was running, you would have had my vote.

Love the t-shirts too!

i saw some barack the vote tshirts in urban outfitters. i wanted one just to commemorate this historical event, but i didn't want the funding to go the wrong way (people just trying to make a dime off of the latest/current events.) just before that, jesus is my homeboy shirts were on the same table =/.. i'll def check out the site barackawear (how funny is that?)!

OMG I so want that hoodie! It is actually affordable, I expected the line to be way pricier.

Also love the creative marketing going on around the campaign, totally out of the box and fresh. Love the Rockawear and Rock the Vote pun!!!

Where do you learn about these things BGG!

@Azeeza, yes that would've been a good idea, but I'm not the PR person behind these shirts! LOL!! Remember Diddy's Vote or Die campaign in 2004? He had t-shirts too.
