As you guys know, I’m always on the prowl for pretty blushes and bronzers. My latest obsession with these cheek-enhancing products is cream blush. I’ve been using one brand in particular for the past couple of weeks just to switch things up a bit since winter arrived.
I’ve found that using cream-based blushes are actually great alternatives to powder blushes during the colder months because they add a bit of much-needed moisture to dry skin. Plus, they provide an enviable dewy look that is usually only attainable during the warm seasons. So go ahead and get a head start on summer with a sexy, creamy cheek color. TIP: Berry-hues, dark reds and deep pinks are the most complementary on many BG skin tones.

I'm a cream blush user! My favorite are Stila's convertible colors...you can use them on the cheeks and lips.
Happy Monday to you, BGG! Hope you are off to a great one.
Cream blush supposed to be best when you're - of a certain age. But I haven't been able to find any I like.
Didn't know Clinique made one. Thanks for the heads up!
I've never used blush. As a matter of fact, I don't even know how to apply blush. I'm still learning how to apply makeup. I seriously need to find classes in my area.
Have not used blush too much. But I was playing around with it and found a trick.
The blush I did have was loose power, I put some coca butter on my face and forgot to fully rub it in but it was in enough not to see. So I applied the blush, that is when I noticed that I needed to rub in the coca butter, and rubbed it in together, there was an immediate glow and it looked really good like cream blush. My friend uses cream blush and it always looks so natural.
Have a great day!
xo,
CC
Blush in cream is much better than power I been using Boobi Brown and it's great. I would like to try the Clinique.
I've never used a cream blush, but I just got into powder blush about a year ago. This is exciting. I'm going to try them, but probably not until next winter...
I have not used cream blush in ages. I'd love to give it another try. Thanks for the post!
too scared of blush in big fear of becoming a clown.
I like them but I am afraid of blush to. Just cant do it.
BGG, I'm not a blush person though I love the look on others. My BFF will be here for the weekend and you know we will be make-up hunting so maybe I'll try one!
I'm not a big fan of cream blush. I like powders because its much easier to put on (or take off if you put on too much). I swear by Nars blush because a little goes a long way and their colors are so vibrant.
i love to wear powder blushes on top of cream blushes to make sure they last all day
love the duwop- great shimmer to it!
cream blush is a good idea. i never considered it but now i think i might give it a try!
@ Kittyvodka - Don't be scared!! :-) Just don't apply too much!
I like cream blushes, but they are a little hard for me to use, I think i can handle powder better lol
I've been curious about this but never got around to using this. I will have to stop by a counter and try it out... hmmm. Thanks for the color recs BGG...
I think it will give a dewey look that comes in high-end magazines!
Thank God I can catch up with BGG! Always on point, and always the best :-)
Cream blush's are great! I think if you don't wear anything else you should at least have on some blush. It makes you look more polished.
Although it's harder for me to apply, i like the end result of cream blush. It looks so dewey and moist and not too powdery. The only downside is that I have some old acne marks on my left cheek so I sometimes feel as though these imperfections show up a little more when using the cream blush. if i apply foundation or concealer under the cream blush, i am good to go! PS- that ulta blush you posted is awesome in both the cream and powder version... it's just as concentrated as the pricier brands!
I've never tried cream blushes, too worried about it looking streaky and feeling greasy.
