Beat the Winter Skin Blues!

Since winter is here to stay for the next few months, now is definitely NOT the time to skimp on moisturizing! Harsh winter winds can wreak havoc on our skin if not properly treated. The best way to protect it during these cold days is to use a facial moisturizer (ideally with SPF 15). I never leave the house without applying a double dose of Oil of Olay; it's the best for maintaining a healthy glow, while combatting dull, winter-ridden skin!

Do you double-up your daily moisturizing routine during the winter? If so, what is your favorite brand?

Check out some of these top moisturizers!

Oil of Olay Complete Daily Moisturizer available at www.drugstore.com for $10.99

Juice Beauty Organic Facial Moisturizer Concentrate available at www.sephora.com for $36

Hope in a Jar Moisturizer available at www.sephora.com for $15

Cetaphil UVA/UVB Defense Facial Moisturizer SPF-50 available at www.drugstore.com for $13.99

BGG, I have fallen off the moisturizing wagon. I know better but in the morning I just don't feel like adding one more thing to my routine. Okay, I'll do better. Lord knows my skin needs all the help it can get.

I always use Clinique's Moisturizing lotion ("M Lotion") both summer and winter. In the summertime I only use one pump, in the winter two... So I guess that counts as doubling up, lol.

I guess I'm a bit old fashioned (Or it could be that most lotions break my face out)but I use oils (mainly castor and almond)

That Olay Complete is my staple!! I love it with a passion. And like Wes, I'm a fan of Clinique's moisturizing lotion too. It's 82 degrees here in Orlando but when I was in Atlanta where it was a good 40, I was able to prevent dry skin with BOTH products. Always wanted to try Hope in a Jar. Happy Tuesday, sis!!

Right now I am using Ambi. I find that I have to switch my facial products periodically or they'll stop working for me. I wonder if I am the only who has to do that.

Because of the type of skin I have which is very sensitive I been using Kiehl's it has UV and SPF 15.
I like it because is not too rich and it's fragrance free.

I am a fan of the Oil of Olay Complete moisturizer too! I also LOVE Aveeno's daily moisturizer with soy enrichments. Both the Oil of Olay and Aveeno I use are oil free, which keeps me from breaking out.

I too have to switch up my daily products. As of right now, I use Ambi. Previously I was using Aveeda.

I adore Oil of Olay in the combination skin formula, it moisturizes my skin and mattifies my T-zone.

I actually mix mine. Even though I have oily skin, moisturizing is imperative so I usually mix a small amount of Bio-Oil and Ambi moisturizer or I may use Dove moisturizer.

I always use hope in a jar but not as much as I should. I usually end up using it once my skin is peeling from the dryness.

Ambi works best for me in the winter. I love to try other products but I will always go back to Ambi. The face wash works well too.

OK girls..check those labels on all those brands you are talking about for petroleum (butylene and propylene glycol)--those are the byproducts that isn't even good enough for your car to run on!
My pick is Juice Beauty because they have a moisturizer for every skin need. My favorite for our types of skin is the Juice Beauty Cleansing Milk, the Juice Beauty Moisturize concentrate; and Juice Beauty's Oil Free Moisturizer. All petroleum and paraben free but packed with organic fruit extracts that have powerful antioxidants and really great age defying ingredients. And they're organic. I buy Juice Beauty at Sephora, Whole Foods and Nordstrom.

I use ponds moisturizing facial creme! It works wonders and leaves my skin soft, supple and glowing! It isn't greasy either. And its from Walgreens! Can't beat that!
