Magic Stick

Each year companies churn out hundreds of new beauty and skincare products made in hopes of landing in our makeup bags or bathroom cabinets. Well, 2009 is shaping up to be a beautiful year! So far, I’ve already come across one great new product that stands out from the bunch – Clearasil’s Pimple Blocker Pen.

Ok, I know you're thinking Clearasil is for teenagers, but women of all ages are often plagued with pesky pimples still. This lightweight, yet powerful pimple-zapping pen contains 2% salicylic acid, which instantly penetrates the skin and gets right to the problem. Having tried scores of products that claim to treat blemishes, this is by far one of the best.

My favorite part about it is that it's transparent and applied directly to the skin. Plus, it’s portable making it easy for the girl on the go. Tip: Don't apply too much; if you do it becomes less transparent!

Available at www.clearasil.us for $9.99

Would you try this new product? Two lucky readers will win one. Just leave a comment and the winners will be selected randomly and announced tomorrow.

Yeah I'll try it. I'm in my 30's and I still get pimples every now and then.

I actually have a "period" pimple right in the middle of my forehead! I'd love to try this!

I'd try it! I'm 31 and rarely get pimples/blemishes but every now and then one sneaks up and surprises me!

I'd try it. I get period and stress pimples. (And sometimes I get I-should-have-taken-my-make-up-off-before-I-went-to-bed-pimples, but that's neither here nor there.

I currently use clean and clear advantage first clearing spot treatment and it works pretty well.

Wow! I'll definitely be looking for that one. Every few months, I get a killer zit on my cheek - I am 36 and thought these days were behind me.

I think I'm too old for pimples, but the little suckers seem to think otherwise. I'd love to try this product.

BGG, I'm 40 plus and I still get zingers regularly! Something is really wrong when you have to deal with gray hair & pimples! Anyway, sometimes they start in the middle of the day while you're away from home so it would be nice to sneak off to the bathroom and start the healing process immediately...before it becomes mammoth!

I would try it if I won it ;) But I don't think I would buy it.

This sounds great, I hate slathering pimple cream all over my face and drying out my face. I can use this directly on the pimple, it sounds great.

@Antithesis - It should be in drugstores nationwide soon, but now you can find it at www.clearasil.us for $9.99 - thanks for reminding me to put the price and info because I completely forgot!

I'd try it. I don't have tons of pimples, but just enough to make concealer a MUST everyday.

This would be good for this pesky zit on my forehead.

I don't usually have bad breakouts, but when I do, it's always one HUGE zit in the most conspicuous spot, lol. This pen thingie is a must-have!
