Hosted by Marcia Cole, founder of AmberMag, the event was packed with over 100 beautiful and like-minded women eager to learn the secrets from the night's industry pros: Johnson and Lewellyn. Held at the UniWorld offices here in New York City, Johnson and Lewellyn dished about the do's and the don'ts of making it in the fickle fashion business.

Do you frequent networking events and mixers in your area?

That sounds like a great event! I used to attend networking mixers and events pretty frequently, but i've fallen off in the past few years. This event recap reminds me of the benefits of going - chatting and learning from people who've made it to where you want to be. If the AmberMag series makes its way to Los Angeles I will check it out.
@hiphopmuse - I think there is going to be one there at the end of the month with Beverly Johnson. Be sure to check out Ambermag.com for details.
