The Honeymoon is Over!

According to People magazine, it looks like the union between Eddie Murphy and Tracey Edmonds has reached it's end. The couple has allegedly separated after a mere 2 weeks. Although the union in Bora, Bora wasn't completely official since it took place outside of the U.S., the couple was supposed to get married legally in the states, which is not going to happen now.

Is anyone shocked by this? I'm not, but I will say that I didn't expect them to call it quits this quickly. Was it all for publicity? Who knows? There have been rumors and speculation about Eddie's sexual preference. Perhaps there's some truth to his "suspicious" relationship with his best friend who was also his best man, R&B singer Johnny Gill.

In this situation, I feel sorry for all parties involved, especially their children.

BTW...thanks for the heads-up K-Bear!

What do you guys think about it?

I just heard this on ET. I'm surprised that it was so fast, but not surprised it happend. I was always shocked to see Tracy with him after the whole Mel B. thing.

why did they waste everyone's time and their own?

Edmonds is hot. All these years later and she is still an attractive woman.

But why would she want to marry a bi-sexual man, anyways?

BGG, I do believe Bam warned us that this was coming. I don't feel sorry for either of them. They're adults and they entered this 'thing' with eyes wide open. Tracey knows Eddie and he knows her. Hey, maybe she's bi-sexual as well. I suspect it's all for publicity though. I would not be surprised if he has some movie coming up soon or something that would benefit from the publicity. Remember there's no such thing as bad publicity. I bet Mel is laughing her a$$ off!

Its better they did it now than get married in the U.S. and go through a bad divorce. Them breaking up so quickly makes me wonder why they got married in the first place. Why couldn't they atleast lived together for a couple of years and later see if marriage is for them. And if Eddie is really with Johnny Gill, maybe now would be the time for him to come forward their relationship. His career has been succesful for atleast twenty years, since everyone suspects that he is suspect, I don't think it will hurt his career that much.

I wonder how much money Eddie paid Tracey to go along with the fake marriage announcement. It's a win win situation for the both of them...she gets paid and he gets the publicity.

Well Tracey saw the way he treated Mel B so she is very naive if she thought he would treat her any better. If you want to see how a guy is going to treat you then take a good look at the way he treats his ex. That will give you a great insight.

Ondo lady, Bravo! You are so right. And this isn't a case where she just didn't know. I mean come on..the situation with him and Mel was all over everywhere. That's why I think it was just a stunt. It just had to be.

I predicted this would happen. I'm not surprised because Eddie needs to be true to himself. if he wants to live an alternative lifestyle, that's what he needs to do and stop allowing women to become emotionally involved with him.

I'm sure Tracy is not excited about the situation, but I'm sure she wont have problems finding a real man.

I knew the truth about Eddie when he wore that tight leather red suit years ago!
This was all a stunt to try to keep us away from his true love, Mr. Gill....MY MY MY!!!!
