Chain Reaction

Purses are like shoes and money; you can never have too much or too many! This season purses with chains are popping up everywhere in variety of styles and shapes. Bags adorned with a chain handle or delicately draped chains add a ladylike twist to ordinary arm candy. Most of these styles are reminiscent of the timeless Chanel flap handbags.

Do you own any purses with chains? If not, would you purchase one?

I am not really into the chain bag look. But I may have to check into that Gianni Bini large hobo bag, the chains are very subtle... I love it!

I own a clutch with chains on it (from New York and Company), I wore it for my High School graduation. Though I'm mostly a one-purse kind of woman.

BGG, those bags are ca-yute! That Gianni Bini is downright delicious looking!

I'm not a big fan of clutches with chains, because I don't know when the trend is going to fade and it has the ability to look old, gaudy and downright tacky, since I'm not TOO trendy. I will purchase a bag and just cut the chain off or stick it back in the bag though. :)

Fab post!

I have that Chanel purse & absolutely love it...I wasn't a big fan of the chains at first, but they're growing on me!

I must admit, I wasn't a fan of chain bags either until recently. I've always admired Chanel handbags from afar because I probably will never be able to afford a purse that expensive. Well, maybe someday!! LOL :-)

I have that Melie Bianco handbag. I like it better folded over as a shoulder bag. The picture doesn't do it justice. I also like many of the other Designer bags you have listed but I can't afford them....sigh...

i love love chains but they make the bag so much heavier.
