We all know that using heating tools to style our hair is never the best option, but what’s a girl to do? Even though applying extreme heat on our tresses over a long period of time can cause major damage to our dos, there are a few preventive measures we can take when it comes to drying our hair. Using a tourmaline-infused dryer can decrease the damage and breakage by drying the hair faster. Infrared heat penetrates hair to heat it gently from within. Infrared is a different type of heat that does not heat the air. Instead, more heat is delivered to the hair shaft, while less is delivered to the surface, so hair is not damaged. Plus, I've found that these dryers leave hair shiny and smooth!

I never have mastered the dryer. I rely on my stylist and when I have to I use and old Conair with a comb attachment. Good post for me.
The tourmaline dryers are really good. I use mine whenever I dry my hair, and you're absolutely right- it DOES promote shine and volume.
ive never used this type of dryer. i just use my little pink ionic one but it was CHEAP. i have to treat my hair better...
BGG, I have never even heard of such a thing but lord knows I need to try one cause my $20 dryer leaves more hair in the sink than on my head! I'll be heading to Sally's this weekend to get one! Thanks for the tip!
i havent used this specific brand but i try to blow dry my hair are rare as possible anyways and let it dry naturally.
I've only used the hair blow-dryers that were at the doobie place (a.k.a. dominican hair salon) and I don't even know the brand. But I wouldn't mind trying that Jilbere Tourmaline Anti-Static Iconic Dryer.
I have the T3 tourmaline dryer. For such an expensive dryer it does no better than my 20 dollar gold n hot dryer..
I am happy to say I have not put heat on my hair since... Wow, BGG, I can't even remember. I know I got it straightened about a year ago, but my hand held blow dryer is at home lonely. LOL!
I just saw a segment on TV about how to dry your curly hair with a diffuser. I've always let me hair air dry and it just plops down from the weight, I'm anxious to get one of these dryers and see my hair have volume, no frizz and no damage.
my laziness has helped me in this dept cuz now i just let my hair air dry!
Ok I am still focusing on the 300 dryer..lol
No I let my hair air dry but I am interested in at least trying one of these dryers...thanks.

Congrats to the winner!
i'm not sure what kind of dryer my stylist uses but i've heard good things about tourmaline dryers...i hope it's what my stylist uses!
Ok. I'm a disbeliever when it comes to too much heat damages hair. Maybe because I've never been a victim of heat damage (knock on wood). I use a Chi iron on my hair EVERYDAY! I have not seen any damage! I've been doing that for over a year. I normally use an overhead dryer to dry my hair. I'm willing to try one of these. Thanks for the info!
BGG, you just blew me away with Glowelle kit!! I'm looking forward to trying it and I will let you know when my skin starts to glow. As per blowing away, I'm in the market for a hair dryer I'm looking in to Iconic or the Jibere Tourmaline.

Infrared heat penetrates hair to heat it gently from within...I like the way that sounds!
