Obama Book Fever!

As you guys know, I'm all about "Barack-ing the Vote," on November 4th. With that said, I pretty much love watching or reading anything pertaining to my favorite presidential candidate and our potential First Lady. Within the last week, I've come across two books that are worth checking out - The American Journey of Barack Obama by LIFE editors and Michelle, by Liza Mundy. I'm an avid reader of biographies/autobiographies and love to collect coffee table books so these new titles were right up my alley!

The American Journey of Barack Obama is a beautiful hard-cover book filled with wonderful essays by notable LIFE magazine editors accompanied by rich, vibrant photographs of the presidential candidate. Retails, $24.99

I haven't read the Michelle Obama biography yet, but I certainly plan to start this weekend. Retails, $25.00

Since many of us BGs love the Obamas, I thought that I'd let you guys know about these books if you didn't know already.

Both books go on sale this month!

As the election date gets closer, do you have Obama fever too? What did you think about the debate last night?

I've never heard of those books. I'm interested in Michelle's biography! I thought the debate was boring, it wasn't as exciting as the last two.

I've never been this interested in an election. Although I thought the debate last night was a little stale, I still think Barack came out on top ;0)

I wasn't really feeling the debate last night, but I'm already a decided voter, so the debates aren't really for me anyway.

Thanks for the info on the books. I'll check 'em out.

GO TEAM OBAMA!!!

BGG, don't get me started! I am completely strung out on our next president and first lady! I will definitely purchase both books pronto! I loved the debate last night and felt so proud of Barack for holding his own. He never lets his opponent rattle him. America is finally getting the oppportunity to see the truth about black men. They are intelligent, strong, handsome, incredible, unshakable and too damen cool for words. Oh and Michelle represents BGs so well, there really are no words to say it all. She is totally his equal and they have a loving relationship that comes thru the air waves! In a word Awesome! If only my mother were alive today, she would just die from excitement! Ha! Barack the vote!

The debate last night? I think Obama showed dignity and integrity in not allowing John McCain to turn the debate into a mudslinging contest.

I totally have the fever. I'm so proud of Barack and Michelle always showing dignity under fire. I though Barack was wonderful last night and as you know from my blog the "That One" comment really got under my skin. Ugh!!

I don't have Obama fever but I do like the Obamas, their family looks so cute together and the Mr. & Mrs. seem like they're still in love. It's sweet.
